Our Return Policy
At CRTD Diamonds, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer returns and exchanges in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Standard Returns
You may return an unused, unaltered diamond within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, provided:
- The diamond is in its original condition, unset and unmodified
- The original certification and documentation is included
- The diamond has not been damaged, scratched, or altered in any way
- You provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us to request a Return Authorisation within 30 days of receiving your order
- We will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions
- Package the diamond securely in its original packaging
- Ship via the provided insured courier label (FedEx or DHL)
Do not post returns via Australia Post. All returns must be shipped via insured courier for the protection of your stone.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned diamond, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your diamond for a different cut, carat size, or clarity grade, please contact us. We will work with you to find the right stone. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.
Bespoke and Custom Orders
Bespoke and custom-ordered diamonds are made to your specific requirements and are non-refundable unless the stone does not meet the agreed-upon specifications or is faulty. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your diamond arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match the specifications on its certificate, please contact us immediately. Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:
- A replacement stone that meets the original specifications
- A full refund if a suitable replacement cannot be provided
- Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by the fault
We will cover all return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.
Return Shipping
For standard returns (change of mind), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We will provide a pre-paid insured courier label, and the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
For faulty or incorrect items, CRTD Diamonds covers all return shipping costs.
