Our Quality Standard
At CRTD Diamonds, quality is not negotiable. Every diamond we sell meets a strict set of criteria designed to ensure you receive a stone of exceptional beauty and integrity.
Minimum Clarity: VS1
We do not sell diamonds below VS1 (Very Slightly Included) clarity. This means every CRTD diamond is eye-clean - no visible inclusions without magnification. Our range extends from VS1 through VVS2, VVS1, IF (Internally Flawless), and FL (Flawless).
Independent Certification
Every diamond is independently graded by a leading gemological laboratory - typically IGI (International Gemological Institute) or GIA (Gemological Institute of America). We never self-grade our diamonds. The certificate is your guarantee of the stone's exact specifications.
Expert Inspection
Before any diamond is dispatched to you, it undergoes a quality inspection to verify that the stone matches its certificate and meets our visual standards. We check for any issues that a certificate alone may not capture - such as undesirable fluorescence effects, poor transparency, or asymmetry in the cut.
Cut Quality
We prioritise well-cut diamonds because cut has the greatest impact on a diamond's visual beauty. A well-cut diamond returns light efficiently, producing the brilliance, fire, and scintillation that make diamonds captivating. We favour Excellent and Very Good cut grades across all shapes.
Sourcing Partners
We work with established laboratory diamond growers who maintain rigorous quality control throughout the growth process. Our supply chain is fully transparent - we know where every diamond is grown and can trace it from laboratory to your hand.
